September - December

In September we visited a 9-11 tribute in town.

Abby turned 6 in October. We decorated her walker for school that day and made special cookies for her to share with her class.
A few days later we had family over to celebrate. Spencer and I helped blow out her candle.

Spencer told me what he wanted to be for Halloween back in March. He wanted to be Buzz Lightyear - no question about it.

Abby was The Princess of Pink.

Spencer turned 4 in November. He was VERY excited about his new Buzz Lightyear toy.
We had a family party for him a few days later as well.

Abby started riding the bus to and from school in November.
We think she likes it, for the most part. There are only two other kids on the bus with her and they are both in her class. When Abby gets on the bus in the morning one of the kids always says, "Abby! Abby!" as she is getting into her seat. The bus comes directly to our house, which is nice.

Abby has finally started to have an interest in coloring. Up until now she wouldn't even hold a crayon or marker. But now she will hold a marker and color all by herself. I am super excited about it.

Pink and purple are her favorite markers to color with.

We went to see the Christmas lights at the Mesa Temple right after Thanksgiving.
We started a new tradition this year and made a gingerbread house.
We decided blue is the new red for Christmas Sunday.
The kids LOVED Christmas. It was great!

We had AWESOME family pictures taken last month. I absolutely love the way they turned out.
